Continuing our NEW THINGS series we discover in God's Word that, as those who are born again in Jesus and walking in the new covenant now in Christ, we can now have the Holy Spirit come into us, baptize us, and give us a New Spirit.
1. NEW SPIRIT = NEW FRUIT (Our spirit is made NEW because we have been baptized in the Holy Spirit) When we embrace the NEW SPIRIT – we produce NEW FRUIT. Galatians 5:22-25
2. NEW SPIRIT = NEW GIFTS
When we embrace the NEW SPIRIT – we receive NEW GIFT. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11
Through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, God extends His power and the blessing of His presence to all believers. He gives us a NEW SPIRIT. Our role is to ask and receive.
