This is the first of three sermons in which Pastor Eric unpacks God's vision for Evident Life Church: "We are a people of prayer, pursuing God and loving others."
The Early Church of Acts prayed together and saw amazing moves of God and advancement of His kingdom. This is still how the Lord works - through prayer. Evident Life is called to be a people of prayer.
A People of Prayer:
1. We are called to pray
2. We are called to a lifestyle of prayer
3. We enjoy the God-sized results of prayer

God doesn’t want us to have an identity crisis. God wants us to know who we are and why we are here. And so, The Lord has clearly said of Evident Life Church, you are… “A people of prayer, pursuing God and loving others.”
While this statement seems simple, it is profound and incredibly important.
Within this statement are 3 unique identifiers that help us understand who we are and why we are here.
1. We are a PEOPLE OF PRAYER.
2. We are a people who are PURSUING GOD.
3. We are a people whose lives are spent LOVING OTHERS.
