WHY STUDY 1 JOHN?

3. Because the Message of 1 John Matters Today
4. Because 1 John Speaks the plain and real truth.
I have found that there are two typical ways to approach God’s Word:
1. From the NEGATIVE position – God’s Word is hard & restricts us.
But there is another way to approach the Bible…
2. From the POSITIVE position – God’s Word is a gift & gives life

The mission of this study is to hear what God is saying to His church, and so we are taking the expository approach and systematically (verse-by-verse) unpacking precept-upon-precept the richness of Scripture as we discover that God wants His church to know who He is and who we are in Him. God wants us to know truth & to walk in it victoriously & with joy.
