In our society today, the attempt at silencing followers of Christ is increasingly found in the form of stripping away religious liberties - taking away our right to freely exercise our faith, share our faith, and abstain from things that are contrary to our faith.
What do we do? How do we respond?
“Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” – Mark 12:17
Dietrich Bonheoffer gave 3 ways in which the church can act towards the state:
1. The church must question the state regarding its action
2. The church must aid the victims of state action.
3. The church must take action against the state to stop it from perpetuating evil.
How do we exercise our religious liberty?
We look at 6 Biblical examples:

2. Shadrack, Meshac & Abednego
3. John the Baptist
4. Jesus
5. Peter & John
6. Paul
In the end, we are called to share Jesus and declare Jesus IN PUBLIC. We are compelled by God to speak up, to take up our responsibility, and to help the state be the state.
