Throughout God’s Word it’s clear, God loves people and human life is sacred. Yet, throughout history (right up to today) there are those who devalue human life. Those who even seek to destroy it for their own gain. The prophet Jeremiah introduces us to an evil that has people sacrificing their babies to a false god called Molech. How could this ever happen? Well, it is happening right here and right now… It’s happening in Planned Parenthood offices. How are we (Christ followers) called to respond to this situation? 3 Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. 4 Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. – Psalm 82:3-4 There is forgiveness for anyone who has been involved in this and any of us who feels convicted for walking by and not helping. If we confess our sins, (God) is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:9
