1 John 1:5-10
We have this assurance, that an encounter with Jesus will change us.
THE ASSURNACE OF HOLINESS has us…
1. WALKING IN A NEW DIMENSION – the dimension of light. Contrary to the belief of many, the call to holiness is not a punishment, it’s not a burden; rather, the call to holiness is a gift (a blessing) from God.
The call to holiness is God deciding to pour out His power (His grace) on His children.
2. WALKING IN A NEW PURITY - Jesus purifies us because we are walking with Him (living in His dimension & embracing His grace.) And this is why Christ gave us His grace (His power)… to crush sin, walk away from it, and walk with Him in this new dimension of light.
3. WALKING IN A NEW FELLOWSHIP - Holiness (walking with Jesus) leads to fellowship with God and fellowship with one another.
When Jesus (the light) walks into a ROOM, everything changes. When Jesus (the light) walks into a LIFE, everything changes…
